Personal life
Jyothika Saravanan was born to Chander Sadannah,a film producer, and Seema Sadannah on October 18, 1978 in Mumbai. She is a Punjabi. She did her schooling in Chembur Muslim School in Mumbai. She married actor Surya Sivakumar on September 11, 2006. The couple have a daughter, named Diya, who was born in 2007.
Career
Her first movie was the Hindi film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, directed by Priyadarshan, opposite Akshaye Khanna. She proceeded to act in Kollywood films, where she debuted in a guest appearance in Vaali.
Her first Tamil movie as a lead artist was Poovellam Kettuppar with Surya Sivakumar. She starred in Kushi, for which she won the Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award, Mugavari, Thenali and Dumm Dumm Dumm. In 2003 she starred in Dhool with Vikram, in Kaaka Kaaka with Surya and in Thirumalai with Joseph Vijay. In 2004, she acted in her first dual role in Perazhagan and received a Filmfare Award, the Dinakaran Best Actress Award, and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
In Chandramukhi she played a woman suffering from a mental illness for which she won another Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Her performances in movies like Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal followed. She also acted in the Radha Mohan-directed Mozhi, where she played a deaf and mute girl and in Gautham Menon's Pachaikili Muthucharam and in Manikanda.

Pooja (born 25 June 1981 as Pooja Gautami Umashankar in Sri Lanka) is an actress in Kollywood and the Sinhala film industry. She has a Masters Degree in Business & Management. She was also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow).

Career
Her debut film was Ullam Ketkumae in Tamil with Shaam, Laila, Arya, and Asin Thottumkal which was directed by the late Jeeva. It wasn't released until her second and third films Jay Jay and Attagasam released in 2003 and 2004 respectively. She bagged one of the main roles in Bala's Naan Kadavul by replacing Bhavana and Karthikaand was appreciated by the critics for her fatastic performance.
She became a sensation in Sri Lankan film industry and a household name after the success of of Anjalika (2005) and Asai Man Piyambanna (2007). This also earned her the role of broadband ambassador for SLT (Sri Lanka Telecom).

Suhasini "Sneha" Rajaram (Tamil: சினேகா) (born October 12, 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is a Tamil film actress in Chennai, India. She has acted in several Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language films. She debuted in Ingane Oru Nilapakshi, a Malayalam film directed by Fazil. Her first commercial success was in her debut Tamil film Ennavale, which was the second film in her career. Sneha has won two Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Awards and has been nominated once for a Filmfare Best Actress Award. She has also received one Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film Virumbugiren. Got her Kalaimamani Award from Tamil Nadu Government in the year 2006 and Nandi Award from Andhra Pradesh Government in the year 2005 for her wonderful acting in the film Radha Gopalam . She recently received Excellence Award from Chennai Rotary Club.

Career
Sneha, began her film career in the 2001 Malayalam film Ingane Oru Nilapakshidirected by Anil BAbu in a supporting role, however her major breakthrough came later that year in a Tamil language film, Ennavale opposite Madhavan. Later that year, she starred in the film, Aanandham as well as K. Balachandar's, Parthale Paravasam. She finished the year with a foray into Telugu cinema, making two appearances in notable films.
A total of 8 films, were released in 2002 including her first major hit in Telugu with Hanuman Junction as well as other hits in Unnai Ninaithu and April Madhathil. Prestigious films with top actors also followed, such as King and Pammal K. Sambandam with Vikram and Kamal Haasan respectively.
After a successful previous year, Sneha acted in only two films in 2003. The first being Vaseegara with Vijay, the second being a heroine-oriented double role in Parthiban Kanavu. The film became a commercial hit as well as winning plaudits for Sneha's portrayal of the double role.
The year 2004 was a mixed year for the actress, with Jana, Bose, Venky and Adhu, a horror film, all failing at the box-office. However, Vasool Raja MBBS opposite Kamal Haasan became a blockbuster, while Autograph was a box-office hit which won critical acclaim.

Shriya Saran (born September 11, 1982) is an Indian film actress. She began her career acting in music videos, while also attending an acting studio to follow her dream to act. After her debut in 2001 with Ishtam, she gained Telugu cinema's attention in 2002 by playing the role of Bhanu in Santhosham, her first major hit. Following the film she appeared in several Telugu films with prominent actors, whilst, also making in-roads in Bollywood as well as the Tamil film industry. In 2007, Saran became a national figure after her performance alongside Rajinikanth in Sivaji: The Boss, after which she has signed several Bollywood, Kollywood and also a Hollywood film.
Saran performs predominantly in leading heroine roles in high-budget and major studio films, ranging from romantic comedies and drama to science fiction and action thrillers. Her most popular released films include Santhosham (2002), Tagore (2003) and Sivaji: The Boss (2007).


Career
Early career
Shriya's first opportunity to appear in front of the camera came whilst she studied her second year at the LSR College in Delhi, which she quit to participate for the shoot. Saran's first screen appearance was in the music video of Tirakthi Kyon Hawa by Reenu Nathan, which she was given a chance to perform in by her dance teacher who had recommended her. The video shot at Banaras gave her fame, prompting Ramoji Films to offer her the lead role of Neha in their film Ishtam starring and directed by newcomers. Saran despite wanting to only try one film eventually catapulted to fame. Before the release of Ishtam, Saran signed three mega-budget films; Santosham, Nuvve Nuvve and Tagore with the industry's top heroes, Nagarjuna, Tarun and Chiranjeevi respectively.
Film career
Shriya started her movie acting career with the Telugu film Ishtam (2001), produced by Usha Kiran Movies. This first film didn't fare too well at the box office, but she was noticed by many Telugu producers and directors. Soon she signed for Nagarjuna's Santosham (2002), which was a major hit and she didn't have to turn back since then. She was very lucky to get the most coveted chance to act opposite none other than Chiranjeevi at a very early point in her career. After the huge success of Tagore she became one of the top actresses of the south Indian film industry. Her later movies, such as Nuvve Nuvve and Bhageeratha, earned her many accolades. She had one of the biggest hits in her career with Chatrapati opposite Prabhas. Shriya is also endorses for large brands like LUX and Head&Shoulders.
She made her Tamil movie debut in Enakku 20 Unakku 18 (2003), cast along with Telugu actor Tarun, Trisha Krishnan. The film was an average hit at box-office, but it was more importantly a musical hit due to music composed by A. R. Rahman. She had plenty of glamorous roles lined up for her in Tamil, but instead continued with Tollywood for a year. She has made her comeback in Kollywood through the film Mazhai with Jayam Ravi. The movie did well at the box-office. She beat other top actresses for the much coveted role with Rajinikanth in Shankar's Sivaji: The Boss which is the most expensive Indian film till date after Dasavatharam. Most recently she appeared opposite Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, and currently filming with Vikram in Kanthaswamy.

Trisha Krishnan, (born on May 4, 1983) (Tamil: த்ரிஷா கிருஷ்ணன்) is a prominent, award-winning actress in both Tamil and Telugu film industries. She rose to fame in the Tamil industry with her roles in movies, Saamy and Ghilli and the Telugu industry with her movie, Varsham.

Film career
Trisha Krishnan first made her debut in films when she was offered a small cameo in the film Jodi. However, the first movie in which she signed up to enact the role of the leading lady was Priyadarshan's Leysa Leysa. A string of flops marked the beginning of her career, such as Manasellam, and Alai. However she was well suited for her role opposite Surya in Mounam Pesiyadhe and won critical acclaim. She is well acclaimed for her facial expressions while acting. She then played Vikram's lady love in the mega blockbuster Saamy. The next huge film she took part in followed immediately afterwards, was Ghilli with Vijay, which was a remake of Telugu blockbuster Okkadu.
In 2004, she starred in Varsham in Telugu which went on to become the biggest hit of the year and turned her into an overnight sensation. In 2005, she starred alongside Siddharth Narayan in the telugu flick Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana as the village girl Siri. The movie is about a rich boy, who tries to marry a girl - however her brother opposes. It is directed by Prabhu Deva, was successful at the box office, and Krishnan won two awards for the film which include the Filmfare Award and Nandi Award.
She appeared in Mani Ratnam's Aayitha Ezhuthu which was remade into a hit Hindi movie Yuva. The Tamil version included Siddharth Narayan, Madhavan and Surya. Her later movies, Ji, Aathi and Aaru did not do well - though Aaru was received well by critics and both dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and produced by Saran, who had previously directed several successful movies. Her 2006 Telugu movie, Pournami, directed by Prabhu Deva, was a flop. However, another 2006 film, Something Something ... Unnakum Ennakum, where Krishnan acted opposite Jayam Ravi, did well at the box office. Something Something ... Unnakum Ennakum is a remake of the Telugu movie, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana where she plays the same role.
Her Telugu film Sainikudu with Mahesh Babu was released on November 30, 2006. There were high expectations in the trade circles from this film especially after the smashing hit Pokiri, but this high budget film started off with below average reviews. Despite receiving bad reviews from the film trade, the film managed to get a decent opening in India and overseas.
Her next release after Sainikudu was Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule where she was cast opposite Venkatesh. This film was Selvaraghavan's first film in Telugu. The film released on April 27, 2007. The film is a family entertainer and received good response especially from the family audience. The box office returns exceeded the collections of later releases like Aata and Munna. Krishnan's performance is one of the highlights of the movie.
In Kireedam with Ajith, Krishnan tried comedy and received rave reviews. Kireedom opened with high expectations and received good reviews from media and audience. Her 2008 films, Bheema and Kuruvi failed to succeed at the box-office, whilst Krishna with Ravi Teja , opened to rave reviews. Her other movie Bujjigadu starring Prabhas, directed by Puri Jagannadh was released during Summer and made a decent run. Her other projects include three Tamil films, Radhamohan's Abhiyum Naanum, Sarvam with Arya and a Gautham Menon film. She has also signed a Telugu film: King starring Akkineni Nagarjuna directed by Sreenu Vaitla is awaited for December release. King has so far done well at the box office.
Krishnan recently replaced Rani Mukherjee as the Brand Ambassador of Fanta India. She is the brand ambassador of Scooty Pep+, for which she has replaced Preity Zinta. She endorses Perk chocolate, for which also she has replaced Preity Zinta. She is also the brand ambassador for Fiama Di Wills, a product by ITC
